For years, Akbar Al Baker, the brash CEO of Qatar Airways, promised he would introduce a business class seat so revolutionary it would make most first class products obsolete. Last week, after many delays, Al Baker  finally unveiled his patented cabin , and  by most accounts , he has succeeded. Soon, on its Boeing 777s and A350s, Qatar Airways will be the first airline to offer couples seated in business class a double bed. Previously, only the most opulent first class seats, such as Singapore Airlines’ Airbus A380 suites class, offered that feature. Qatar is the latest airline to bet big on business class, calculating the massive seats and over-the-top service of first class no longer makes sense in a competitive market. Russia's second largest airline, Transaero, has finally ceased operations after its licence was revoked by the Russian government. The airline has been facing financial troubles with debts around 1.1bn euros. It filed for bankruptcy on October 1 2015 and stopped ticket sales on that date. Several flights were cancelled. Economy Minister, Alexei Ulyukayev had warned earlier in the month that the airline faces bankruptcy after the airline failed to reach an agreement with its creditors on a restructure of its debt estimated to be worth 250bn roubles ($5.2bn). Aeroflot attempted to buy the airline for a significant 1 rouble before it backed out because of the debt issue. It is quite annoying for individuals to spend millions of Naira or thousands of dollars to train to become pilots only to go back home and be struggling to looking for work. I think it is high time every pilot most especially the unemployed ones fight for what they deserve. They cannot continue to be fighting to be slaves when they can be living like kings in their own country. A mother has been slammed for allowing her son to defecate on the floor of an airplane just before it took off. The mother and the grand mother of the child were criticised by the Chief steward of Sherzhen airlines for allowing the child to poo in front of his seat. The parents of the child argued that the plane's toilet was too small as it will not fit all the three people - The mother, the grand mother and the child. They left the plane leaving a pile of crap and further angering the cabin crew It is however not clear whether the parents of the child have been blacklisted by the airline.
