FG suspend's Dana's AOC

The federal government has again on Saturday suspended the operating licence of Dana Air. The airline resumed operations on January 4 this year. Dana Air in a statement said:
We regret to announce the temporary suspension of our flight operations following a directive from the Ministry of Aviation through the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) on Saturday, 16th March, 2013; No specific reason was given for the action.

A meeting is, however, scheduled between the management of Dana Air, the Ministry of Aviation and the NCAA on Monday 18th March and we will update you as we get more information.

We thank you for your patience and understanding, and we look forward to having the pleasure of welcoming you on board again shortly.
It would be recalled the former DG of NCAA, Harold Demuren was fired and replaced with Captain Fola Akinkotu, Rector of the International Aviation College. The recent happenings in the Nigerian aviation industry all boils down to the resolution by the National Assembly calling for the sack of Demuren as well as the revocation of Dana's licence.

Now the NASS has gotten what they want are they satisfied now? I think its high time politicians stop meddling into the affairs of the aviation industry. There are countless of AIB's recommendations on the industry how many of these recommendations have been  implemented?
